Class F N-Aramid APA (Florothem)
The quality of electrical insulation is a decisive factor for functional capability and service life of electric motors, generators and other electrical rotating equipments.
Three way insulation consists of a polyester film with Aramid paper glued on both sides with high temperature adhesives. This composite (Flexible) material has special importance insulating class F electrical machines. Aramid paper has outstanding thermal characteristics and extra ordinary resistance against chemicals and solvent.
The better electrical and mechanical properties of polyester sheet are ideally complemented by high temperature resistance of the Aramid paper. Two sided covering of the Polyester film with Aramid paper, protects these laminates against influences of hydrolysis, making these laminates an importance insulation component in manufacturing insulating class F electrical equipments.

Shelf Life: FLOROTHERM® Flexible materials have practically unlimited period of shelf life if properly protected from dust, moisture and direct radiation of heat. It should be stored in dry place and recommended to be unpacked before it is to be used.
