Lacquered Coated Film

Lacquered Coated Film

Lacquered Coated Film

Polyester film ideally suited for slot liners, closures and inter phase insulation in electric motors and generators. Characterized by a high degree of safety and reliability.

Ideally developed for slot liners, closures and inter phase in sulations in Electric Motors, Fans, Generators and Transformers & for major Electical & Electronic components.

Polyester Film is also widely used in Cable Wrapping & Copper Insulation, Packaging, Lamination, Stationers, OHP Sheet, Window Packing, FRP Sheets, Stickers, Labels & overall it has got a multipurpose applications & uses.

  • Insulation resistance : The electrical properties are excellent with a very high level of insulation resistance and very low level of moisture absorption. Ideally recommended for slot liners in F.H.P. as well as H.P. ratings in a variety of electrical rotating systems.
  • Toughness : It does not crack or spilt when creased sharply. It is easily formed into "Cuffed" slot liners and closures by semi-automatic machines and runs efficiently in fully automatic forming and inserting machines.
  • Ageing : Accelerated ageing tests at very high temperatures indicated that the life is longer than general grades of polyester film.
  • Chemical Compatibility: It is compatible with most impregnating varnishes, particularly those based on polyester resins of the terephthalote or isophthalate types.
  • Brittleness : It can be used at a temperature of low as -70° C without becoming brittle
